Drawing everyday 100/100 Toriyama tribute

I decided to make the finale of my drawing challenge a tribute and love letter to Akira Toriyama's work.

Everybody knows how much of an influence he was to today's artists. To me he was even more than an influence, it defined me, my job, my style, how I approach drawing, characters, expressions, movement etc...Hell, I think I won't even be drawing today if I didn't have Dragon Ball Z when I was a child.

Life as an artist isn't always easy. Sure, you're doing what you love. But You feel people don't take your job seriously, sometimes it is even hard to take what you do as a "real job" yourself. You have that feeling that you're never good enough, that you'll never be good enough. That feeling is a curse as well as it made me draw endlessly since I could hold a pen. You have imposter syndrome and f**king Instagram algorithm doesn't help at all, you feel you're invisible no matter what you do.
However, drawing...it is the one thing you know you won't quit ever, even if you sometimes feel that what you do has no purpose.

When I heard Toriyama passed away, I saw countless drawings and tributes to him. I wanted to draw something also...but I didn't feel joining the tribute wagon. It had to come when I felt it, and this drawing challenge finale was the right time.
Also drawing all heroes is boring as hell, so I went with the bad guys, where Toriyama was a true master.

Cheers Toriyama, thank you, we'll keep the drawing fire burning.
